Bio and provenance: A typical Art Deco design of Franz Hagenauer Woman Face in patination bronze with gold highlights to hair. Very heavy and in great condition. As younger brother to Karl Hagenauer, Franz took over the Workstatte Hageneauer Studio after his brothers death. This sculpture is attributed to the studio work in the 1980s, although no marks can be found on the reverse, but may be present beneath felt base. More research required.
